Extreme in action or deed
Ignorant of others requirements
Possessed by self centred greed

I am poor in monetary terms
Empty pockets of failed dreams
At the mercy of the biblical fanatics
As my spirituality screams

I am in angst in poverty
Under the capitalists enigmatic spell
Traded or exchanged for value
Caught between heaven or hell
