THE LORD OF GREEN

The Lord of green is in between me and you
He sees every single thing we do
From briar hedgerow with watching eye
From tree top haven high up in sky

The Lord of green is in hedonistic bliss
The seeds of fruit or intimate kiss
Stem from water flowing deep within
To the heart or soul wherein we begin

The Lord of green is not far from us all
Ever present behind high garden wall
Growing existing observing the way
Nothing can change that part of the day
