ENJOYMENT

This moment, the now that we are all living in, in this the twenty first century, could be so much more if we accepted the tried and tested wisdoms of our ancestors.
Their ancient knowledge and ways of existence brought humanity to a civilised socially able species, who could communicate, cooperate and appreciate art, music, dance and poetry.
We evolved to create cities and towns, these settlements often grouped alongside rivers allowed culture and art to flourish. We acknowledged that Nature was the greater force of energy and life upon the earth and so worshipped then paid homage to those elements of earth, that presented themselves to our experience.

It may seem strange to think of earths elements as having an influence over human activity and in recent times mankind has falsely believed, that he is the master over Nature, which he obviously is not. These elements are living entities that have always existed, their tune is constantly being played. Unfortunately in today’s technological and financially driven world, it can be difficult to find the silence and stillness to hear this melodic tune, drifting on the wind in every forest and in every other natural place that is a source of sacredness.

Isn't it time that we tried to discover it again?

ON THE BREEZE

In Larch tree I see a bird then hear its song
In migration to destination to nature we do belong
Although we imagine differently in flights of fancy dream
Directed by desires within the flowing mountain stream

In the lofty forest canopy above a mortal soul
The magic of life energy circle completed whole
Denied we suffered needlessly as winds of change did come
Blowing from our western shore their woe had just begun

The ancient scribe who sees so much makes puzzle in his verse
Then prophetic words from heretic is spellbound by the curse
Of religious dogma served in sin from cleric or nun in black
They who creep to seek gratification or fornication in the sack

THOUGHTS

Contemplation within deepest thought
Like running water the source is sought
So bright in light of shining flame

Sacredness found in hazel wood tree
Gives wisdom knowledge or grace to me
So rich in beauty awesome sight
Opening eyes to moonlit night

SINSEARACHT

The true Celtic Pagan who follows within the ways of sinsearacht, should be animist in his personal perspective upon spirituality. All aspects of the natural world around us contain spirits and divine energies, humans can interact and establish a rapport with these entities. We should all recognise this and try to nurture this communication.
The otherworld visions which a pagan may experience during inner contemplation and thought meditation, are sometimes described as supernatural events by others.
There is nothing super about them, but they are a very real natural phenomena.
These visions are hidden deep within human consciousness, they are part of our inner instinct and make up the character of each individual being.
The key to unlock these visions is lay within the three energy forces that exist within us
There are three forces within each individual, Incubation or the life energy, Motion or the embodiment of living a life and Wisdom or the knowledge of all that is required to surpass human endeavour.
These forces together make up the complete soul or spirituality of the person.
They are interwoven and have an effect upon each other, as they are filled or drained of energy. The emotions or experiences of the individual will dictate the movement of these energies.
The presence of external natural entities is the reality of our life on earth, these life forces exist and interact with human thought and behaviour constantly.
The personality of each entity is unique and particular to its cause or reason for origin, every tree, mountain or stream has divinity within it. Seek it whenever you can.
It is for the true pagan to discover this for themselves by making pilgrimages to sacred groves, holy wells and mountain crags. Where they may hear the music of nature and begin to find the deosil dance within themselves.
Within the stillness of the forest Natures tune can be heard.
